On Friday, 15 schools in the city came together to celebrate Harmony in Collaboration, the Campion School Republic Day Parade executed by Sportobuddy. The event was held at the back gardens of Campion School. The celebrations began with a flag hoisting ceremony at the hands of Rev. Principal Paul Machado followed by a national anthem in esteemed presence of Major General E. Fernandes, AVSM, SM, VSM and other eminent personalities from the Armed Forces and the Mumbai Police along with the entire teaching staff.
Students from reputed schools including St Mary’s School, St Xavier’s Boys Academy, GD Somani were all lined up to celebrate the 69th Republic Day with great zeal and patriotism. The parade was streamed live on the portal and the Sportobuddy app which undertook the execution of the event right from the online student registrations from 15 schools to live streaming the parade and all other aspects of on-ground support.
“We are delighted to celebrate the spirit of unity with children from Campion and the 15 schools who gathered to commemorate the Republic Day of India with great patriotism. Along with this, we took a technological leap by conducting the registrations and live streaming the entire Republic Day celebrations, which was executed by Sportobuddy. We’ve pioneered the trend of bringing digitalization to the school playground and thus, raised the bar of qualitative teaching experience for the generations to come”, said Mr Paul Machado, Principal, Campion School.
“It is overwhelming to witness such enthusiasm and love expressed by the children towards the country. We made sure that parents who were at home also joined the parade virtually and hence, live-streamed the entire event. We received a heartwarming response to the work and are motivated to develop more ideas to make sports and education much organized and digitalized”, said Mr Dhananjay Rawal, Brand & Communications Head, Sportobuddy.
