Common Admission Test (CAT) is authorized by the Indian Institute of Management. It is a national level management entrance exam conducted for the admission to 20 IIMs and more than 100 Business schools across India. Candidates who want to enter MBA take this exam and around 2 lakh students appear for the test every year. CAT 2018 consists of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and Non-MCQ type questions and it is a 3-hour online test. CAT is divided into three sections QA (Quantitative ability), VARC (Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension) and DI and LR (Data Interpretation and LogicalReasoning)

The selection process occurs after the release of CAT 2018 cut-off. The selection process varies from institution to institution. Each institution will execute their own admission process after the release of cut-off. The selected candidates will be called for Group Discussions, Writing ability test or both and a personal interview for the final selection. Many MBA colleges in Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai etc take students based on the CAT score.

    • Select the candidate’s city from the drop-down

    • Select the preferred city from the drop-down

  • The CAT Percentile Predictor is a comparative tool and the results are predicted based on the performance of other candidates. Hence first few users will be notified through an email when the results will be available.

Points to remember – CAT Percentile Predictor

  • Candidates are allowed to enter the slot and their registration details only once.

  • Candidates can change their data entered about the percentage of question attempted and the difficulty level for the maximum five times.

  • If candidate uses the CAT Percentile Predictor for the sixth time, the upcoming estimation of the predictor will be as per the last input entered but there is a possibility of little variation due to the increase of users in between.
