Such studies are very important for policy prescriptions, especially to achieve Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations. Along with Mega Cities, small and mid-sized cities are also gaining importance and the study recommends to include such cities also. Actually it is an interdisciplinary study including Physics, Statistics, Information Science and Economics.
