This is going to be an exciting month for all science, innovation and robotics aficionados with#CelebrateAvishkaar coming to town. The Biggest Celebration of Science, Tinkering & Robotics is going to be held at Thyagaraj Stadium on 14th & 15th December. What makes this event even better is that entry is FREE of cost!

You’ve got the grand finale of Asia’s Biggest Robotics Competition – IRC School League. Currently, in its Xth season, IRC School League will mark the culmination of 15+ qualifiers held across various cities and states of the country. The theme for this year’s competition is ‘Bot Olympics’ that focuses on encouraging children to be the best they can be and come up with agile, audacious and resolute robots that can compete in the true Olympian sense. The purpose is to inspire and motivate the youth to design and build robots that can withstand the trials and tribulations of the elite competition.

Along with this, there’s Avishkaar Makeathon, a competition exclusively for Makers where the Top 100 Innovations created by young innovators will be showcased. Makeathon is a one-of-its-kind competition which aims to promote MAKING in our country at an early age. It is a celebration of science, technology, and art where ambitious students can explore their passions and showcase their dream ideas to the world. This year’s Makeathon features six all-new themes – Agriculture for Zero Hunger, E-Waste Management, Interactive Art for Learning Tools, Personal Safety, Space Colonization and Water Crisis for which young innovators had to come up with ingenious solutions that may prove beneficial for our society.
