Grade 8 student releases his first music single on leading music platforms

He has written and composed the song himself, aspires to be a musician

Bengaluru: Priam Sujan, studying in Grade 8 at Ekya JP Nagar, is excited to have released his first music single, ‘Black Rose is for Valentines’. The song has become an instant hit among his friends and family. The 14-year-old creative budding musician released it on leading platforms like YouTube and Spotify.

Priam’s great-grandmother was a composer, and his father studied sound engineering. Coming from a family of music lovers, his passion and love for music are intense. Due to his family’s constant support towards pursuing music as a career, he was never far from finding a taste for it. The idea for creating a soundtrack came to him a couple of months ago as he wrote its lyrics. Juggling between school and his passion, he composed the music and sang the song “Black Rose is for Valentines”. Our budding musician dedicates his free time to music and one day aspires to be recognised for his work.

Speaking on occasion, the Principal of Ekya JP Nagar, Ms Sreepriya Unnikrishnan said, “It’s such a proud feeling to have students of our school achieve this feat at such a young age. We at Ekya Schools have encouraged and supported students to pursue their passion. We are so glad to have such a talented student who makes us feel proud, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours”, she concluded.
