Jalandhar-based NHS Hospital starts free of cost dialysis for patients suffering from chronic kidney failure issues

Jalandhar, January 5, 2022:  With the 20-year-old epidemic of diabetes chronic kidney diseases have sprung up and are the leading cause of mortality during the Covid waves has been those with underlying kidney diseases. People fail to get their treatment done for want of funds. Looking at this, leading multi-specialty hospital NHS Hospital, Jalandhar has started free of cost dialysis facility to the patients as a part of their CSR initiative.

The campaign started today with Deputy commissioner Jalandhar, Mr. Ghanshyam Thori inaugurating the dialysis unit at Nhs Hospital.

The Director of the hospital, Dr. Shubhang Aggarwal explained that kidney diseases are on the rise and people suffer a big financial burden if dialysis becomes a routine for them.
