MIT World Peace University’s School of Design proves eminence with well-deserving placement offers for B.Des. students

Pune, 16th May 2022: School of Design, under the aegis of MIT World Peace University (Formerly MIT Pune), has upped its placement drive for AY 2022 with reputed national and multi-national firms offering distinct job opportunities to its students. The latest batch of students have achieved 65% placement this year and the highest package secured by final year B.Des. student, Rutuja Malvankar, stands at ₹20 lakh per annum. This also increased the average package for this batch to ₹9.23 lakh per annum. With this, MIT-WPU has raised the bar with steady year-on-year growth in placement records due to its student-centricity, industry-wide partnerships and global alumni network.

Students sitting for placement were able to choose from a plethora of companies spanning various industries and domains offering global opportunities. Some of the leading recruiters at the drive included IBM, Newzera, PhonePe, TechMahindra, TATA ELXSI, Xpansion, iZura, Reach Technologies, Hyster-Yale, Uprank Digital, and Elemental amongst several others.
