Nuvoco turns Associate Sponsor for the largest civil engineering festival of Asia organised by IIT Bombay
Mumbai, March 18th, 2019: Nuvoco Vistas Corp. Ltd., one of the country’s leading building materials manufacturers, made its maiden appearance at ‘AAKAAR 2019’; the annual technical festival of IIT Bombay’s Department of Civil Engineering. Nuvoco tied up with IIT Bombay as Associate Sponsor for the event, which is the largest civil engineering festival of Asia, from 16th – 17th March.

Apart from showcasing its range of innovative concrete products and solutions like XLite, Artiste, Microne and Instamix; Nuvoco also offered dissertation project opportunities for young scientists at their Construction Development and Innovation Centre (CDIC). Moreover, Nuvoco also conducted a panel discussion titled ‘Career Opportunities in Civil Engineering’ chaired by industry experts to throw light on the various prospects available to the students. Mr. Pranav Desai, VP – Research & Head – Construction Development & Innovation Centre, represented Nuvoco on this panel.
