Mumbai, August 07, 2019: To mark the 4th Anniversary of the Skill India Mission, CEDP Skill Institute, Mumbai recently participated in the “Kaushal Pakhwada” campaign launched by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) to raise awareness about the importance of skill development amongst the youth. All the members of the institute came together to show their commitment to the avowed mission and organized Various kind of activities like Quick skill learning Programmes, workshops for digital literacy, financial literacy, soft skills and entrepreneurial skills to give all the candidates a hands-on experience of learning new-age skills and techniques.
As a part of the program, CEDP organizes a competition for auto car sketching, blood collection, bed making, flower arrangement, linen art, mocktail making, makeup, and professional hairstyle. A separate counseling session was also organized for the unemployed youth.

CEO and Founder of CEDP, Mrs. Shaheen Khan says, “CEDP has been providing quality skill education, employment and increasing the entrepreneurial spirit by empowering youth over the years. Additionally, to empower youth with appropriate skill training, various other activities like free health checkups by candidates who are participating in medical oriented skill training courses at the institute as well as a photography competition are also there wherein winners receive gifts and prizes as per their performance.
Also, to empower youth with appropriate skill training CEDP Skill Institute Mumbai recently sign a MoUs with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), The MoUs involves the up-skilling of youths, including the provision of training and employment opportunities to the candidates from across the country over a period of 7 years.
