8 April, 2019, Bengaluru: IIM Bangalore has been ranked Number One in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) Rankings 2019, under the Management category, released today. The institute was awarded by Honourable President of India Shri. Ramnath Kovind.

According to Mr. G Rahuram, Director, IIM Bangalore, “It is an honor that IIM Bangalore has been ranked Number One in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) Rankings 2019, under the Management category, released today. The President of India gave the awards. This is entirely due to the efforts of the IIMB Faculty and Staff – both current and former, Past Leadership, the Board, Students and Alumni, and the supporting eco-system. The rankings are based on 5 criteria – Graduation Outcomes, Research and Professional Practice, Outreach and Inclusivity, Teaching, Learing and Resources, and Perception.
