Bangalore, September 03, 2019 : Greenwood High International School hosted the 6th edition of the inter school quiz competition – WISSEN 2019 at its Bannerghatta Road campus. The response from students of prominent schools in Bangalore and across India was overwhelming with participation from 70 schools. The quiz, which was open to students from grade 7 to 10, revolved around current affairs, history, sports, entertainment, India etc with emphasis on environment and air pollution. The quiz was conducted with lot of verve and vibrancy by renowned quiz master Vinay Mudaliar. WISSEN aimed to create awareness in the young minds across the nation about the dangers of growing air pollution.

The WISSEN 2019 was won by Presidency School R T Nagar, which secured the first prize of Rs 100,000. The second prize of Rs 50,000 was won by National Public School, Indiranagar and the third prize of Rs 25,000 went to Sri Kumaran Public School. Prizes were also presented to the ‘Best Outstanding Team’, ‘Audience Round’ and ‘Social Media Contest’.
