New Delhi, 22nd April 2022: In an endeavor to adapt to new age career perspectives and move away from rote learning by integrating the school assessment into its day-to-day teaching-learning practice, Delhi Government has recently felicitated Vidyamandir classes as the education partners on their esteemed ‘Dr. BR Ambedkar School of Specialized Excellence’ project.
School of Specialized Excellence (SoSE), an initiative of the Delhi Government, which was started in 2021, aims to provide specialized education in key areas like Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), humanities, performing and visual arts, high-end 21st century skills and armed forces preparatory school. Currently, the Delhi Government has selected a total of 31 schools after the recent inclusion of 11 more schools under this project.
The felicitation ceremony was held in the honourable presence of Sh. Manish Sisodia, Education Minister & Deputy CM, Delhi, Sh. Himanshu Gupta – Director, Directorate of Education, Sh. KS Upadhyay – Regional Director, Directorate of Education and Udit Prakash, IAS, CEO – Delhi Jal Board.
