Pune, 10th August, 2023: The Lexicon Schools organized The Lexicon Entrepreneurship Conclave 2023 – ‘Fuel to Fly,’ a prestigious platform that brought together 84 talented students from 15 schools across Pune. It is the first Inter-School Business Pitch Competition conducted by the “Biz Wizards” of The Lexicon International School, Wagholi, in which the students of Classes IX to XII from various schools across Pune presented ‘viable’ business models. Based on the theme of “A Sustainable Lifestyle”, this conclave aimed to foster a spirit of entrepreneurship among young minds and provide them with a stage to exhibit their innovative ideas and remarkable business acumen, aligned with the mission of ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat.’
The conclave was graced with the presence of Mr. Neeraj Sharma, Vice Chairman, The Lexicon Group, and Director, Pune Times Mirror, Civic Mirror, and MultiFit, who served as the Guest of Honour. His inspiring words motivated and instilled a strong sense of self-belief among young entrepreneurs. Mr. Sharma emphasized, “Entrepreneurship is not merely a destination; it is a transformative journey that ignites the flame of innovation and resilience. Believe in Yourself, embrace your ideas, and propel them into reality.” With this powerful message, he encouraged the students to fearlessly pursue their dreams and venture into the world of entrepreneurship with unwavering self-confidence.

The Lexicon Entrepreneurship Conclave 2023 aimed to facilitate experiential learning and an opportunity to showcase innovative ideas. It sought to unlock the minds of students to interdisciplinary careers in Management and Entrepreneurship, encouraging them to think beyond traditional paths. The event focused on creating awareness about various aspects of entrepreneurship, inspiring students to envision a self-reliant India.

The conclave was divided into two rounds—preliminary and finale—the 28 participating teams showcased their business, each brimming with potential.

The students’ presentations showcased a range of ideas that left a lasting impact. Students from The Lexicon International School, Wagholi, presented the idea of creating compressed plastic bricks and tiles and carbon filters. This concept underlined their commitment to sustainability and environmental consciousness.
Briffin, the braille-engraved eco-friendly tiffin presented by the winning team, stood out as a remarkable product. The core objective of this product was to provide assistance to the visually impaired by easing the challenges they face during meals.
An idea of energy-harvesting sneakers which not only deliver comfort but also harness energy as one walks, making them a stylish and eco-friendly option. Lastly, the concept of De Printer aimed to address paper waste by removing ink from printed paper, making it reusable.

The finalists at the conclave displayed exemplary skills, confidently presenting their ideas in front of the judges. As the conclave concluded, the three winning teams emerged as true trailblazers, showcasing the power of passion, determination, and innovation. Their remarkable achievements were celebrated with pride:
