Delhi Comic Con 2024 Concludes: A Jam-packed Weekend of Fun, Games and Fandom in the Heart of the Capital City!

Delhi, India, 9th December 2024: The Maruti Suzuki Arena Delhi Comic Con, powered by Crunchyroll, unfolded over three electrifying days from December 6th to 8th, 2024. This year’s convention brought together the vibrant community of comic books, manga, anime, superhero films, and all things fun, delivering a grand success. Comic Con India made a thrilling return to the city, solidifying its position as the biggest pop culture celebration in the subcontinent. 

The 2024 Con in Delhi witnessed the ever-expanding fanbase and love for anime favorites such as Lufii, Naruto, Chainsaw Man, Nezuko, Gojo and more, alongside nostalgic nods to iconic classics such as Deadpool, Wednesday Adam, Batman and various Spiderman variations as well as Indian fan-favourites Avesham’s Ranga, Shaktiman, Chitti: The Robot. With close to 5000+ cosplayers participating across three days and approximately 52000+ visitors over the three days, the convention became an unforgettable celebration of pop culture, making it the ultimate weekend experience. 

The on-stage line-up featured an impressive array of artists who kept audiences captivated with their dynamic acts. Beloved comedians like The Internet Said So, Ravi Gupta, Aashish Solanki, and Delhi’s favorite Pranav Sharma had the crowd in stitches with their signature humor creating a riot of laughter. Fans were especially delighted by the nostalgic return of M.A.D.’s Art Guy Rob, whose creative brilliance and infectious energy struck a chord, evoking fond memories alongside our favourite comedian Rohan Joshi in an engaging session. Adding to the excitement, Panther, Fotty Seven, and Geek Fruit delivered exhilarating performances that kept the audience on their feet, ensuring the winter-extravaganza was a nonstop celebration. As a special surprise, Crunchyroll offered an immersive experience for Solo Leveling fans with pan-India actor Rana Daggubati, who dubbed for the series in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

Comicstaan 3 winner Comedian Aashish Solanki said, “It’s been an absolute pleasure to be here at Comic Con India. I have performed in Delhi Comic Con previously as well and it’s been amazing to be back on this stage. The enthusiasm and the energy of the crowd here is impeccable and Comic Con India is definitely the best weekend of the year!”

MTV Hustle famed artist Panther shared, “Being a part of Delhi Comic Con was amazing. Last time I performed in Hyderabad Comic Con which was great and this time it was in Delhi, which is my own city. It was nothing short of awesome and I truly enjoyed it!”

Stand-up Comedian Ravi Gupta shared, “It was an amazing experience at the Comic Con this year and the cosplays that I have witnessed. It’s stunning how these cosplayers partake in this and have immense respect for them and their dedication to pull off such incredible costumes all day long. It isn’t easy and hats off for them to manage it without any trouble.”

Delhi Comic Con 2024 also offered a plethora of gripping experiences. Retail displays featured popular series like Naruto, Death Note, Jujutsu Kaisen, One Piece, and iconic Indian comics such as Amar Chitra Katha, Sanjay Gupta’s Raj Comics and Penguin Random House drawing thousands of admirers. The experiential zones included Crunchyroll, Maruti Suzuki Arena, Hyderabad’s Biggest Comic Book Store by Penguin Random House India, and exclusive zones by Yamaha, Bingo, Lenovo Intel Legion and Android, became major crowd-pullers and fan favorites throughout three days.

Maruti Suzuki Arena Delhi Comic Con, powered by Crunchyroll, took place from December 6th to 8th, 2024. Next up is  Bengaluru Comic Con, set for January 18th and 19th, 2025 upcoming year, followed by Chennai Comic Con on February 8th and 9th, 2025.
