The company will bundle a Type-C to 3.5mm audio adapter in the box with its next device but is not expected to ship a headphone with it. The upcoming Type-C Bullets are said to feature considerable improvements over its predecessor. In a blog post, OnePlus say, “The shape and material used to craft the speaker housing plays a big role in how a pair of earphones sound. The Type-C Bullets effectively balance utility with versatility, ensuring a comfortable fit and using the shape’s metal design to produce a balanced sound.” To add durability, the headphones’ wire consists of Aramid fibers.

The OnePlus Type C Bullets headphones will include a high-end, professional DAC by Ciruss Logic and come with a higher dynamic range, higher signal-to-noise ratio, and low noise floor than the predecessor. Also, it is claimed that the Type C headphones will ensure a minimal quality loss for a superior audio outcome. This is something similar to what Apple proclaimed at the time of launching the iPhone 7. However, it is worth noting here that OnePlus has up until now retained the 3.5mm headphone jack by underlining its growing adoption among users.
