Usha’s Barbie Sewing Studio was a showstopper in the Grab & Go zone. The pastel-hued installation featured three Usha Barbie sewing machines surrounded by miniature mannequins dressed in bespoke Barbie couture with delicate floral accents, reflecting the growing cultural shift towards fashion as a form of storytelling, self-expression, and sustainable style, especially among Gen Z. Equally popular were the live sewing demonstration counters, where students and fashion enthusiasts had the opportunity to create mini DIY projects on the Usha sewing machines.

Talking about the collaboration, Maurizio Grioli, Dean, Fashion and Interiors, Pearl Academy said, “This collaboration with Usha International marks the beginning of what we envision as a meaningful, ongoing dialogue between education and industry.
