New Delhi, 19th November 2024: The Association for Reinventing School Education (ARISE) successfully concluded its press conference at the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) in New Delhi, marking a significant step forward in driving transformative changes in India’s K-12 education space. The event provided a platform to showcase ARISE’s ongoing initiatives and unveiled details of its much-anticipated flagship event, the ARISE Conference 2024, scheduled for December.
The press conference brought together eminent leaders and stakeholders, including Mr. Prabhat Jain, President of ARISE; Mr. Praveen Raju, Senior Vice President of Arise; Mr. Shishir Jaipuria, Immediate Past President of Arise; Ms. Jyoti Vij, Director General of FICCI; and Mr. Vinesh Menon, Director General & CEO of ARISE. The discussions centered on ARISE’s vision for fostering innovation, improving school governance, and ensuring equitable access to quality education.

Ms. Jyoti Vij highlighted the crucial role of FICCI in founding ARISE and its continued collaboration with ARISE in addressing key challenges in the education sector and supporting policy reforms at both the state and national level. ”ARISE was incubated at FICCI and it gives me great pleasure and pride to see ARISE make rapid strides in the endeavour to enable the much needed reforms in the school education sector. FICCI & ARISE will continue to work together for the benefit of this extremely important sector,” remarked Ms. Vij.
Highlighting ARISE’s initiatives, Mr. Vinesh Menon, Director General & CEO of ARISE shared, “ARISE represents a unique confluence of school edupreneurs and thought leaders. Our focus remains firmly on student outcomes, demonstrated through initiatives such as the Child Safety Manual and the Model Code in fee regulation. ARISE’s collaborative efforts were reflected through the quality of work enabled through partnerships with leading subject matter experts such as EY- Parthenon, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas and mentored by some of the most reputed retired IAS officers like Mr Anil Swarup who was the former secretary of School Education”.
The ARISE Conference 2024, slated for December 13–14, 2024, promises to bring together over 400 delegates, including policymakers, educators, and global leaders, to explore how technology and AI can revolutionize personalized learning. Mr. Praveen Raju highlighted the conference’s relevance, noting, “This annual gathering will serve as a critical forum for exchanging ideas and showcasing innovations that are shaping the future of education. From school tours to master classes, it offers a holistic experience for educators and thought leaders alike.

The conference also announced the launch of the ARISE Principal Forum during the conference in addition, ARISE announced the upcoming launch of the ARISE Principal Forum at the ARISE Conference in December 2024. Designed to foster professional development, this forum will provide school leaders with tailored resources to enhance their management practices. Mr. Menon added, “The Principal Forum highlights ARISE’s vision of empowering school leaders. It will be a space for sharing best practices, addressing challenges, and collaboratively advancing the quality of education.”
