On the Day 6 of Asian Games 2018, Rower of India has joined list of Medal Tally of India. Rowers of India has won a Gold and 2 bronze on day 6 of Asian Games 2018. First one was Dhushyant who started the winning series with a bronze. After that, Rohit Kumar and Bhagwan Singh added another bronze in the tally. The Cherry over the icing came into the end in Quadruple Scull event of Rowing.

After the three medals added by the rowers, India now have a total of 21 medals (5 gold, 4 silver and 12 bronze).
“My sore throat from two days ago turned into a fever and I wasn’t feeling well at all. I just couldn’t row after 1200m, my body gave up. I wanted stronger injections because the anti-biotics they gave me didn’t kick in quickly. But there’s a no-needle policy, so I couldn’t do much and didn’t feel upto it,” he would say, hoping to make amends as part of the Quadruples on Friday.
India’s Romanian coach Nicolae Gioga, strangely, was not aware of Dattu’s medical condition. “I didn’t see that he had a problem. Training mentality was a problem. Competition mentality was a problem,” he would say.

On the other event, Manu Bhaker eliminated from the medal line with score of 176.2. Heena Sidhu proceeded and won the bronze with the score of 10.8 + 9.6 = 219.2. Manu Finished 5th and get disappointed with no podium finish.
