British Council Scholarship for Indian Students is Announced

Indian Director of the British Council Alan Gemmell Obe on Thursday announced that the scholarship for the 500 Indian students. This scholarship is for the Students Exchange Programme in UK University. There are total of 44 universities who will be offering Students Exchange Programme.

Obe said so far 105 women from India including six from North East have already availed scholarship from the council to study at university in UK.

“We are hopeful that more students from Arunachal and other states of the north east will avail the scholarships being provided by the Council,” the director said. He said over the last few years there was significant increase in visa application by Indian students.

We’ve supported the ambitions of millions of young people through our work to train over one million teachers in government schools and by investing in thousands of scholarships and academic exchanges,” Obe said. This scholarship is for the Students Exchange Programme in UK University. There are total of 44 universities who will be offering Students Exchange Programme.

Obe said, in the last 10 years the Council has trained about 1mn teachers in India.

Q. The payment got deducted, but the updated transaction status is showing “failed”. What to do now?

Due to some technical faults, this can happen. In such a case the amount deducted will be transferred to the bank account in the next 7-10 working days. Normally the bank takes this much time to credit the amount back into your account.

Q. The payment was successful but it still shows ‘Buy Now’ or not showing any videos on my dashboard? What should I do?

At times, there may be a slight delay in your payment reflecting on your EasyShiksha dashboard. However, if the problem is taking longer than 30 minutes, please let us know by writing to us at info@easyshiksha.com from your registered email id, and attach the screenshot of the payment receipt or transaction history. Soon after verification from the backend, we will update the payment status.

Q. What is the refund policy?

If you have enrolled, and are facing any technical problem then you can request a refund. But once the certificate has been generated, we shall not refund that.
