New Delhi, 2nd November 2017: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Manav Rachna University (MRU) and Daikin Air-Conditioning India Pvt. Ltd. (DAIPL) to establish a ‘Daikin Centre of Excellence’ at the MRU campus today.
The MoU was signed between Mr. A P S Gandhi, GM, Services, Training & Development, DAIPL and Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Srivastava, VC, MRU in the presence of Dr. Amit Bhalla, VP, MREI; Mr. K D Virmani, Sr. VP, Operations, DAIPL and other senior dignitaries from the two organizations.

While sharing the purpose behind this MoU, Mr. APS Gandhi said: “Very often in the industry, we do not get the requisite and skilled manpower in the air-conditioning sector. This tie-up will ensure hands on practical exposure for the students and help them acquire the new technologies being practiced in the air-conditioning industry including the VRV technology, refrigerant technology and inverter technology. Daikin is already a global leader in these technologies”.
