Basic tips to make learning easy for all children
The very respected Benjamin Franklin said that, teach your child to hold his tongue; he’ll learn fast enough to speak. He was referring to giving your child the ability to think and form their own opinions and decisions. Every child is unique and what they perceive is also unique. Therefore, every child needs a different approach when learning in a classroom setup.

Following are a few pointers that can help making learning easy for every unique child:
1. Break down tasks:
It is important to consider that not every child has the ability to understand a task immediately, that is why it becomes necessary to break down a task or explaining it in a simplified way can go a long way.
2. Compliment them:
Everyone needs encouragement. Children attempt a task to the best of their ability and this effort needs to be applauded. This serves as an excellent form of resilience and conviction. This is one of the most successful ways in motivating children to try better, strive hard and aim higher. A simple, ‘well done’ and a ‘good job’ will instil confidence in a child.
3. Audio-Visual support :
Different children learn differently and therefore, it is becomes an integral part in their learning to understand via texts, audio performances, and visual presentations. Simply set up a skit based on the latest lesson of history, compose a poem to their own melody, or exchange dialogues in the recent English play. There are many ways to bring dynamic learn at no cost to the classroom.

4. Smart pairing
Teachers can bring another dimension to class pairings by seating differently abled children together. Teachers know their students best so pairing them in way that will not only help them but also build a team and bonds of friendship. Especially, children who are rather slow can learn from their partner and gain more out of the pairing.
5. Personal Experiences:
Initiating conversations within the classroom environment is essential in today’s times. While many children suffer from anxiety, depression, and stress conversations of all kinds help them. Conversations are the means to help children express effectively. Lessons can also blend with personal stories that need to be shared for self development and the class’s benefit.
Rabindranath Tagore said, don’t limit a child to your own learning, for he was born in another time. This is true for every generation that is admitted to a learning system. Children need space of mind to meditate on the on-goings in their surrounding. The only way to support them is to lend our patience and nurture their curiosity.
