Gurgaon: Taking a step forward in its contribution for the welfare of underprivileged children, DLF Foundation organized Scholars’ Conclave at Ridge Valley School, DLF Phase IV, Gurgaon. The event celebrated the scholarly achievements of the underprivileged children in the gracious presence of their teachers, mentors and parents. Held under the aegis of its flagship initiative Talent Nurturing Program, the event celebrated the high achievers in the urban and rural category. Approximately 25 students were awarded cash vouchers worth Rs 3000 and Rs 2000 for achieving academic excellence.
The conclave opened with a ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Chief Guest Professor Yogesh Singh, Vice Chancellor, Delhi Technological University and Director and Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, New Delhi, and Guest of Honour Mr Pawan Jindal, Chairman, Jindal MECTEC Pvt Ltd.

The evening was marked by enthralling cultural performances by young scholars brimming with enthusiasm. The highlight of the event was Bodhi Sutra Dance performed by students of Jhankar Senior Secondary School.
