Empowered to Lead: Gillco Students Step Up as Changemakers at AFS National Meet

Gillco International School proudly commends its students Aameen, Harsimran Kaur, and Jasleen Kaur who represented the school at the 6th AFS National Meet held from November 15–17 at Sanjay Godhawat International School, Kolhapur. With the theme “Dare to Change – Be a Changemaker,” this inspiring event united over 170 students from 60+ schools across India to cultivate leadership, promote cultural exchange, and nurture global citizenship.

The three-day event featured a series of enriching activities, including impactful keynote addresses from renowned leaders such as Mr. Deepak Vohra, diplomat and special advisor to the Prime Minister, and Dr. Ameeta Mulla Wattal, an education visionary. The students also engaged in workshops and discussions designed to empower them with the tools and perspectives to address global challenges and drive meaningful social change.

Representing the North region, the Gillco delegation stood out for their active participation and cultural contribution. The meet also provided a platform to discuss the importance of cultural exchange programs, with educational leaders emphasizing their role in fostering mutual understanding and building a spirit of global harmony.
