New Delhi, India – August 16th, 2021: The NorthCap University (NCU), Gurugram, celebrated India’s 75th Independence Day with a flag hoisting ceremony on campus. Abiding by the COVID-19 rules laid down by the Government of India, the university celebrated this day with a small group comprising of Vice-Chancellor, Pro-Chancellor, a few faculty members, and students.

The Vice-Chancellor also expressed her gratitude towards the scientists who worked day and night, leaving their families behind to develop the Covid-19 vaccine. She quoted “Our scientists have toiled day and night to develop the Covid vaccine. It is a matter of pride that India has been a pioneer in helping other countries to combat the deadly situation created by the Covid-19 pandemic by providing the vaccine to them.”

Further talking about the measures taken by The NorthCap University to combat the pandemic, Prof. Nupur Prakash said “The NorthCap University, also has taken stringent measures to combat the pandemic.
