Bengaluru, 27 June 2025: As part of Round Table India’s national initiative Freedom Through Education—aimed at building quality infrastructure for underprivileged schoolchildren—Bangalore North Round Table 25 (BNRT 25) today inaugurated four new classrooms at the Government Model Primary School in R.K. Hegdenagara, Bengaluru. This project forms part of the broader Educational Infrastructure Initiative jointly undertaken by ANZ and Embassy Group, in collaboration with BNRT 25, which has significantly improved the lives of thousands of government school students since 2018–19.
Over the past six years, this partnership has facilitated the construction of four government schools, the addition of 55 classrooms and 31 toilets, benefiting over 2,800 students across multiple schools. These infrastructure upgrades have led to enrolment increases of up to 40%, underscoring the critical role that quality learning environments play in improving attendance and retention. The newly inaugurated classrooms were developed under the Freedom Through Education(FTE) initiative and come equipped with essential facilities such as fans, lighting, and boards.
The project aims to provide more than just physical infrastructure—it seeks to enhance the overall learning experience. All stakeholders have committed to continuing their joint efforts to deliver holistic and innovative educational programs, positively impacting over 850 students at the R.K. Hegdenagara school.
