They have organized a Program on Globally SHE( Saluting Her Endeavour), was inaugurated by Shri Parvesh Verma, Honourable MP, and Dr Satbir Bedi, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, was Guest of Honour, who acknowledged the efforts of GDF, and Dr R K Suri, Chairman who has undertaken this effort of identifying the talented women and recognising them, she awarded Dr Urmila Sharma, for her work in Education.
Shri Parvesh Verma, appreciated the work initiated by GLOBALLY SHE and efforts of Dr Suri, and he expressed that he is very much impressed with the work of GDF and would support them in all their effort, including providing space for Drug De-addiction center and Global University Seasoned Senior’s(GUESS). The SHE team and AGE Welcome team was introduced to guests.

The other distinguished Guests included Ms Bhavana Gaur, MLA Palam, who spoke at length the effort of Global Development Foundation and she said her Government is all committed to provide full support to GDF. The other prominent dignitaries included Shri. R P Khandelwal, Director, HLL Lifecare Ltd., Sh Kamal Taneja, GM Central Bank, Gen Sunil Chandra, Col Jagat Trikha, Sh Sanjay Sharma, GM, Welcom Hotel. Prof R C Malhora, former Director IIT Kanpur, and various seasoned accomplished senior citizens were present.

11. Leadership- Ms. Sudha Sinha
12. Sports- Depika Kali-(Wrestling)
13. Physical Education- Ms Kumkum
14. Distinguished Citizen- Rekha Jhingan
15. Advocate- Ms. Sapna Sinha
16. Doctor- Dr Radhika Sachdev
17. Media- Ms Sameena from RS TV

The event also witnessed dance performance, children of two GEMS school also performed, and one from music school of Dwarka also performed, the young female dancers also performed. In addition the songs were performed by Senior Citizens.
