New Delhi, June 10, 2020: As the world grapples with the sufferings caused by the pandemic COVID-19, House of Aynat, an artistic manifestation of jewellery in association with the Eros Group came together to feed the migrant labourers who have been trying to reach home amid the national lockdown.
Tanya Sood, Creative Director & CEO, House of Aynat, who is wife of Avneesh Sood, Director, Eros Group, sharing details about the initiative said, “We all are aware of how the lockdown led to an exodus of migrant workers struggling to reach their home states. While majority of the measures have been announced by the government for the migrant workers, it is equally important for us to create a safe environment for the vulnerable and disadvantaged in our society. We engaged with the migrants at ISBT, Sarai Kale Khan and Ajmeri Gate Railway Station and distributed food and masks to all of them.”

Ms. Sood is also associated with a non-profit initiative Khilona, which primarily works with children of daily wagers in the capital.
