Haryana TET (HTET) 2018 Syllabus
Level- I: For becoming Teacher for Classes I- V: Primary Teacher
The questions in the tests for Level-I will be based on the topics of the prescribed syllabus for classes I-V, but their difficulty standard, as well as linkages, could be upto the secondary stage.
Level- II: For becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage (TGT)
The questions in the tests for Level-2 will be based on the topics of the prescribed syllabus of the Board of School Education Haryana for classes VI-VIII but their difficulty standard as well linkages could be upto the senior secondary stage.
Level-3: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)
The questions in the test will be based on the topics of the prescribed syllabus of the Board of School Education Haryana for classes IX -XII but their difficulty standard as well linkages could be upto the Post-Graduate level.
HTET Exam Pattern 2018- 2019
Mode of Exam – Pen Paper Based
All Questions in HTET will be Multiple Choice Questions. Each Carrying One Mark with Four Alternatives Out of which One Answer will be correct. There should be no Negative Marking.

Duration – Two and a Half Hours
There shall be only one paper. All Questions will be multiple choice Questions (MCQs) each carrying one mark with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct.
- i) Child Development and Pedagogy – 30 MCQs – 30 Marks
- ii) Languages (Hindi 15 MCQs & English 15 MCQs) – 30 MCQs- 30 Marks
