The speaker representing Indian School of Business and Finance (ISBF), New Delhi, was Mr. Chiraag Mehta, Associate Director. He emphasised the difference between Studying Abroad and an International Education, and said that the latter was still a distinct possibility in India, without necessarily Studying Abroad. He added, “At ISBF, through our partnerships with University of London and The London School of Economics and Political Science, our mission has been to bring the very best of International Education to India, in the fields of Economics, Management and Finance.”

Alluding to the Study Abroad and International Education aspirations of thousands and thousands of Indian students, he said, “In the current situation, many students are going to miss out on being able to Study Abroad, which means they miss out on both the experience and the education. We are very pleased that we can solve the latter problem fully, and several aspects of our programmes with LSE cater to the international experience too, such as being taught by some LSE faculty members, the opportunity for high performers to transfer to LSE in 2nd year and scholarships to attend LSE Summer School.

He added, “When I say that at ISBF you get ‘A London School of Economics Education and A University of London Degree’, it is because at ISBF a student studies exactly the same curriculum as students at LSE, and is also held to the same assessment standards as those at LSE. And, let’s not forget, one can obtain this at a fourth of the cost of doing so in London!”

Mr. Rajeev Kumar Singh, Associate Dean, Undergraduate Studies from Shiv Nadar University, Ms. KanchiKhanna, Director, Outreach from KREA University, and Mr. Salil Gupta, Regional Director, South Asia from St. George’s University of Medicine, Grenada, also represented their respective institutions on the webinar. The online session was moderated by Ms. ChetnaSabharwal, Head, College Placements & Guidance, Bodhi International School, Jodhpur, and Dr. Kshitiza Singh, College Counsellor, Hopetown Girls School, Dehradun.
