Microsoft on Wednesday announced an app edition of its popular Office.com for Windows 10 users. Called ‘Office’, Microsoft’s new application replaces the older My Office application.

The app will be accessible to all Windows 10 users soon. Early testers Windows Insiders (Fast), though, can obtain the program right away.

The Office program will be liberated and may be retrieved using any Office 365 subscription Office 2019 or Office 2016. Users using Office Offline can also use the application.

Microsoft also launched Sandbox lightweight desktop mode for running apps in isolation. The Sandbox will help users run executable files without worrying about the effect on functionality or other files.

“At Microsoft, we regularly encounter these circumstances, so we developed Windows Sandbox: an isolated desktop environment where you are able to run untrusted software with no anxiety of lasting impact to your device. Any applications installed Windows Sandbox stays just in the sandbox and cannot influence your host. Once Windows Sandbox is closed, all of the software together with all of its files and say are permanently deleted,” Microsoft added.

How to Download Latest Windows 10 Update

To download and install Windows Sandbox, early testers need to go Settings > Programs > Apps & Features > Programs and Attributes > toggle Windows Features off or on, and then choose to Enable Windows Sandbox.
