Kolkata, 4th January, 2022: Praxis Business School, a premier Business School focused on building Digital Leaders of the future, today announced that its January 2021 Post Graduate Program in Data Science (PGPDS) with AI & ML batch has achieved 100% campus placement. This is specially creditable considering the COVID situation.
Praxis started the first full-time Post Graduate Data Science program in the country way back in 2011 and is ranked the number one Data Science Program in the country in the Analytics India Magazine 2021 Post Graduate Data Science Program rankings.
A total of 44 students in the PGPDS January 2021 batch were placed. The batch had about 20% women students, who were also recipients of the Praxis WiT (Women in Tech) scholarships. The WiT scholarships are an initiative by Praxis to encourage greater participation of women in tech roles.
Continuing the strong precedent of recruiters returning each year for placement, this year too there was a strong roster of recruiters making placement offers.

The highest offer received by a student of the Praxis January 2021 PGPDS batch was 15.77 lacs per annum while the average remuneration of the batch stood at an encouraging 10.19 lacs per annum.
The recruiters comprised top brands like PricewaterhouseCoopers, Genpact, Fractal Analytics, Alumnus Software, Bridgei2i Analytics, The Smart Cube, Giant Eagle Inc, Poonawala FinCorp and others.
Praxis admits students to their flagship PGDM course at Kolkata in July and to their PGP in Data Science with AI & ML Program in January and July, at their campuses in Kolkata and Bangalore.
