Ritika Mukherji, an Alumni from Amity International School, Noida has been selected amongst the five Rhodes Scholars selected for India 2022. Currently, a final year undergraduate student of Zoology at Miranda House, University of Delhi, Ritika completed her school at Amity International School Noida (2018-19 batch) where her love for Biology sprouted. The selection process involved a written round followed by three rounds of online interviews and interaction with the 12 national finalists. The whole process was truly transformative as it enabled deep self-reflection and critical thinking around my present and future academic goals. While my exact area of application will be finalized in consultation with the Rhodes trust as Oxford, I would like to pursue neuroscience. I am also deeply interested in Indian classical vocals, western electrical keyboards, a cappella singing, roller hockey, skating, science communication, and wildlife videography. “

The Rhodes Scholarship is one of the oldest and most prestigious international scholarship programs that enable young people from around the world to study at the University of Oxford. The five Rhodes Scholars-elect for India 2022 were selected marking the culmination of a rigorous national selection process. For the second year running, the entire selection process was conducted virtually.
