RRB has made an announcement that the second round of second stage CBT of the ALP (Assistant Loco Pilot) and Technician exam has been postponed. Previous date of the examination was December 12, 2018 and now the updated date is December 24, 2018. This is the new date of the Group C examination date. Many candidates have filled application for the Group C and Group D posts. But due to same date they were unable to sit in any of these. Now it will make easy for the candidates to attend both the examination.

Why RRB ALP Technician Exam Postponed:
RRBs have also received representations requesting postponement of 2nd Stage CBT on account of clashing of dates with the CBT for CEN 02/2018 and/or academic examinations. In view of the above, the 2nd stage CBT scheduled earlier from 12th December is postponed and shall now start from 24th December 2018.

There are total of 5,88,605 numbers of the candidates those are shortlisted for the second stage of the examination. Total of 36lakh candidates appeared in the first stage of the examination. RRB ALP CBT Result of first stage was released on November 02, 2018. The examination is conducted to fill 64,371 vacant seats of Technician and ALP (Assistant Loco Pilot). The second stage of the examination is patterned to be in two part, Part-A and Part-B. Part A will be 90 minutes long and Part B will be 60 minutes long.
