The grant will be utilized to train 200 fresh graduates in banking jobs SAGE Foundation
Mumbai, 1st April 2019: Shahani Academic & Global Empowerment Foundation (SAGE), a non-profit trust focused on skills training, received a Rs 76 lakh grant from J.P. Morgan to help train 200 economically disadvantaged graduates in banking jobs.
The Shahani Group will adopt innovative teaching methods to provide BFSI-specific training to these underprivileged youth. The Group is also preparing to update the curriculum and train teachers to meet the changing industry standards and ensure students are work-ready.

About Akhil Shahani
Akhil Shahani is the Managing Director of The Shahani Group, which runs a range of colleges in areas like business, media, real estate, finance and others.
