Students of DPS Indirapuram celebrated Christmas with enthusiasm as they staged a special assembly that was both enriching and entertaining. The celebration was held on 24 December 2022 on the school campus, where the students showcased multiple programs, including a choir group singing the most melodious carols to usher in the spirit of the festive season. The students of the School dramatics club presented their own version of one of the most enduring Christmas plays, followed by a Christmas carol by Charles Dickens.
Students spread the message of sharing and caring and learnt that giving away help, happiness, and joy is the most pleasant act one must do. Santa also took over the stage, hosting an enriching Christmas quiz for the students, leaving the winners with candies, sweets and gifts. In the end, the school’s dance troupe presented an outstanding performance themed ‘Jerusalema’ and finally ‘Feliz Navidad’. They were also given refreshments and sweets, adding more happiness to their joy and celebration.“Our students performed really well, putting up a great show on the occasion of Christmas. Our teachers trained them quite enthusiastically, helping them learn the essence of the festival and enjoying every bit of it while enjoying. It was a bliss to watch everyone soak in the spirits of Christmas and be a kid again, getting excited to receive the most awaited gifts. We had a great time celebrating the festival of sweets and happiness with our kids,” said Ms. Sangeeta Hajela, Principal, DPS Indirapuram.
