Over 1,000 Students from 19 Schools Participated in Tirangaa and Sports Mania

Bengaluru, September 18, 2024 – Tattva School, Bengaluru, managed by Ryan Edunation group  has successfully hosted the 12th edition of Tirangaa, an inter-school cultural and literary fest, celebrating the spirit of Indian Independence. The recently held event witnessed participation from more than a thousand students from 19 schools competing against each other in various events.

Along with Tirangaa, the school also hosted  Sports Mania, an interschool sports fest and presented a wide array of talents across cultural, literary, and athletic disciplines. Participants competed with sportsmanship and athletic spirit in the championship, representing their respective schools with pride and enthusiasm.

The Chief Guest of the event was Mrs. Meena Jayachandra, Director – Auden Public School, notable leader in the field of education  with more than 25 years of experience and several recognition awards to her credit, including the Education Excellence Award from Vijaya Karnataka.

Ms. Mamatha Rao, Principal of Tattva School, expressed her delight at the event’s success: “It was overwhelming to witness more than 1,000 students participate in various competitions. The day showcased spectacular collaboration, great attitude, life skills, healthy competition, tolerance, mindfulness, strength, sportsmanship, teamwork, and above all, camaraderie!”

One of the highlights of this show was the Rap Blitz team event, where participants delivered powerful, instrument-free rap performances centered on the theme “India: Rising Titans.” The innovative approach and patriotic performances attracted the audience and judges.

The event received positive feedback from participating schools. Gopalan National School’s Chethan Kumar praised the unique events that were present, particularly highlighting Venture Adventure. Students and faculty from  various schools like  Amrita Vidyalayam, Janani Vidya Mandira, Sri Jnanakshi Vidyaniketan School, and National Public School, Banashankari, etc commended the event on its organization, hospitality, and overall environment.

The sports competitions saw fierce competition in basketball and athletics. Deccan International School dominated the basketball tournaments, winning both the Under 14 Boys and Girls categories.

While the Tirangaa 2024 event was a celebration of the competitive spirit, it also inculcated a feeling of pride and unity for the nation in the participating schools.
