The 8th Netaji Subhash State Games, 2022 Ends with a Grandeur at MAKAUT, Haringhata Campus

Kolkata, 17th May, 2022: Curtains came down on the 8th Netaji Subhash State Games, 2022 on the 16th of May, 2022. It was organised with a great grandeur at the Haringhata Campus of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), WB from13th May 2022 to 16th May, 2022. It has been organised jointly with Bengal Olympic Association (BOA) and the Haringhata Municipality as a collaborating partner for the events.

The Minister for Animal Resources Development, Govt. Of West Bengal Mr. Swapan Debnath was present on the first day of the 8th Netaji Subhash State Games . The Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Power & Non Conventional Energy Mr. Aroop Biswas was present on the final day.

The players had arrived from 23 districts of West Bengal and participated in 25 events.

Prof. Maitra mentioned that MAKAUT is happy to be a part of this historic event. The BOA authorities pointed out that it is from this Netaji Subhash State Games that players from West Bengal will be selected for the national level.
