Top Rankers award Pavan Kaushik as ‘Role Model’ in Communication, Marketing & PR

An eminent corporate communication professional, Pavan Kaushik, known for his cutting-edge communication strategies, was today awarded with the “Top Rankers Excellence Award – Corporate Communication and Public Relations Role Model” organized by Top Rankers Management Club during the 22nd National Management Summit, 2022.

The role model award is the highest award in the category of Marketing, Corporate Communication and Public Relations. The award was presented to him by the Hon’ble Former Supreme Court Judge – Shri H.L. B.P. Singh, H.E. Mrs. S.B. Hanoomanjee – High Commissioner, Republic of Mauritius in India, V M Bansal – Chairman, NDIM, Dr. A K Balyan – Chairman & Director Carmine Energy Pte., A K Bajoria – Director & President JK Tyre & Industries Ltd. and VSK Sood, Managing Director, Top Rankers Management Club.

Pavan Kaushik has also been ranked as top 3 professional in Public Relations and Communication by Thinkers 360, also recognizing him a thought leader in motivational writing, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), social and as an influential leader.Pavan Kaushik is currently heading Corporate Communication and PR function as Vice President in M3M India Group.

In his vast professional career of more than 30 years, Kaushik has already been recognized by different organizations and forums. In the year 2018, Kaushik was named as the CSR Person of the Year by the India CSR Network Leadership Summit.

Known for his humbleness and exceptional story telling skills, he has launched many social awareness campaigns including ‘KHUSHI – On care for the deprived children’, ‘SAKHI – On economic empowerment of rural women’, ‘Be Safe – On industrial and road safety’, ‘MITRA’ and ‘SAARTHI’ on aligning social objectives with business objectives of the organizations for the greater good of the society.

During his tenure at Hindustan Zinc (A Vedanta Group Company) as Vice President and Head of Corporate Communication, Pavan Kaushik worked extensively on new market development for Zinc, Lead and Silver under his campaign – ‘We all have Zinc in our lives’.

Prior to Hindustan Zinc, Pavan worked in National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) as Media Head and not only taught journalism and communication but also launched a full-fledged program in fashion communication.

He became a Gazetted Officer at the age of 23 and joined the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting as an Assistant Director. During his ten years tenure in the Ministry, Kaushik worked on many prominent campaigns of national importance – New Economic Policy, rural development, 50 years of India’s independence, AIDS awareness, Pulse Polio, Care for the girl child, education, women empowerment, Income Tax and National and International Film Festivals of India.

A veteran in Corporate Communication in the sectors like metal and mining, infrastructure, FMCG, Energy, Oil and Gas, Fashion and Lifestyle, Real Estate and CSR, he is also an independent consultant in highly reputed Gerson Lehrman Group Inc. (GLG) on various topics.
