New Delhi, November 25, 2024: The University of East London (UEL) successfully concluded its India Tour 2024, a collaborative initiative with Siemens and T-Hub. The tour was a multi-city initiative spanning Chennai (November 18), Hyderabad (November 19), and Vadodara (November 22). It included a series of engaging events like conferences, roundtables, and award ceremonies, aimed to foster sustainable education, strengthen industry-academia partnerships, and empower women leaders.
In Chennai, UEL kicked off the tour with a Sustainability Solutions Conference, showcasing groundbreaking innovations such as Sugarcrete®, a low-carbon building material. The tour culminated in Vadodara, where UEL hosted the prestigious Women in Leadership Awards, recognizing and celebrating outstanding women leaders across various sectors. This event aligned with UEL’s commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment.
