University Of Arizona to Host a Multi City Roadshow To Boost Admissions

Interested students get the chance to meet with key faculty and learn about the offerings of the university

November, 2022 – The University of Arizona will host a roadshow in several cities in India, in an effort to support undergraduate and postgraduate aspirants looking to pursue an international education. The 2022 Wildcat Days India Tour is set to happen in Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru, in the last week of November and first week of December. 

The University Of Arizona  is a popular destination for Indian students to enrol each year, and this event offers an opportunity for aspiring students and parents to clarify all their queries with key faculty of the university.  According to a 2022 Open Doors Report, there has been a sharp uptick in the number of Indian students looking at an overseas higher education. A total number of 1,99,182 Indian students were enrolled in higher education programmes in the US in 2021–2022 alone.

Participants can interact with Dr Terry L Hunt, and learn more about education in Arizona.   

Dr. Terry L. Hunt, an internationally acclaimed anthropologist, archaeologist, and educator, will be present at the events. Dr Hunt has conducted studies for more than four decades in the environmental histories of the Pacific Islands, and has led field research with students for the past 20 years on Rapa Nui (Easter Island). Dr. Hunt served as Dean of the W.A. Franke Honors College (2017-22) and is now Professor in the School of Anthropology at the University of Arizona. 

The event will cover all aspects of student life at the University of Arizona. Students will hear about the benefits of studying at the leading US University, the different undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered, and the requirements to apply. 

Additionally, undergraduate applicants to the University of Arizona within a week of the event will receive a $85 USD application fee waiver.
