New Delhi, 11th June 2020: Vicky Dadhich, who is an acclaimed dancer and a popular influencer on Likee – short video app by Singapore-based BIGO Technology Pte Ltd – recently held a virtual dance class for a group of 25 children at an orphanage in Pune, Maharashtra. This was an attempt by the dance master to bring smiles on the faces of children who are deprived of any source of entertainment during the ongoing lockdown triggered by Covid-19 pandemic. The event was organised at Maher Foundation in Pune by an NGO named ‘Tap to Smile’.

The children thoroughly enjoyed Vicky’s virtual Bollywood dance class that was organised on June 7, 2020. The best part was that the Likee influencer did not charge any fee for the class. Though the organizers were willing to pay Vicky’s fee for the event, he took it up as a cause and not as an opportunity to mint money. Since the outbreak of the novel virus and declaration of lockdown, Vicky has regularly been organising virtual classes and workshops for youngsters who are dance enthusiasts.

Speaking about his journey on the app, Vicky feels that Likee has helped in creating a “triangle comprising content creators, Likee and audience, which is a win-win situation for all”. According to him, there are lesser options on other apps and Likee’s unique features have made video creation easier. According to him, Likee offers opportunities and recognition for talents. Pointing that the app allows him to upload his dance tutorials with ease and even interact live with his fans, he adds, “I would recommend our friends too to join Likee.”
