Aanand L Rai’s next film Zero starring Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif is set to hit the theatres this season. Recently, the director talked about late actress Sridevi who is also earning a cameo in the movie.
The filmmaker said he felt blessed that he made to work with her, though for a few moments. He said that he always cherished the dream of working with her and even moments felt fantastic.
Director Anand L Rai seems to be in awe with Sridevi’s existence on the sets of his upcoming movie ‘Zero’ for that short period only. Explaining the same about her setting and presence, he elaborates, “Working with Sridevi — I believe, I was blessed. I got a chance to spend a few moments with her. I cherished this fantasy of working with her. However, working for only a couple of minutes too felt great.”
Adding more about having watched her picture he says, “Sridevi is one actor whose functionality makes us understand the distinction an actor brings in facing the camera. ‘How she transforms as a celebrity no earlier she confronts the cameras. This is a great learning lesson for each of us. I am really happy that God has bestowed upon me one day a few moments to spend with her.
He proceeded to add that she’s 1 actor who whose operation makes us understand the difference an actor brings after facing the camera and it is a great lesson for everyone. He thanked God for the chance to work with her.
He also said he was literally mesmerized with her performances. The filmmaker continued that if she entered the sets everybody was similar to awestruck.
Meanwhile, in the movie, there’ll be cameos of other actors also. The trailer of the which was released on Shah Rukh’s birthday with a grand occasion garnered a lot of appreciation.
Finally, he states, “The effect from the character is all from her emotional and stunning performances. You have to watch what Sridevi is doing in the movie. That is a surprise element for you men.”
