Script, screenplay, and dialogues are by his old-time collaborator Himanshu Sharma. Zero is a narrative of Bauua Singh, who is vertically challenged yet his confidence and guts are unbeatable. Founded in Meerut, a city in Uttar Pradesh, Zero is basically a story of emotions and life. The movie travels from Meerut, Delhi, Mumbai before landing at the USA.

The second half might let you down a little, despite good performances by the team. Initially, it had been a fun ride, but after Bauua decides to go on space exploration, it slows down the momentum.
We love Aanand L Rai’s world and could have warmly accepted of his imperfect and endearing small-town characters. Also, the story might have been left open-ended.

Talking about performances, Shah Rukh Khan provides a compelling performance. His eyes speak volumes as he takes you into his world. He makes you think in his character Bauua Singh. The quantity of effort Anushka has put to her character Aafiya Yusufzai Bhinder is evident. She has done all to get into the skin of this NSAR scientist with cerebral palsy but it impresses intermittently. The surprising part is this movie is Katrina Kaif, who is just great with her expressions and emoted every scene superbly. Where were you Katrina all this long? Their existence lifted the story.
We also loved to watch the cameos played with Salman Khan and the late Sridevi and we all believe it has added value to the movie.
