How 5G works?
In the previous blog I had given you an introduction to 5G but today you will learn How 5G works?
If you have not read my previous blog please read it first to understand this one.
The major difference between 5G and 4G is speed and time and low latency. Plus 5G is more reliable but, the wall penetration and less coverage issue are there with 5G. Do you think 5G is only for less coverage? Ok, then how our devices will work if it is for less coverage only?
So to build a network of 5G we need 4G too. Let me clear you about the architecture of 5G network and How 5G works?

5G network use system of cell sites that divide their territory into sectors and send encoded data through radio waves. Each cell site must be connected to a network backbone, whether through a wired or wireless connection.
For encoding 5G use similar type like 4G i.e OFDM. 5G is designed to use a much larger channel and 30% the efficient speed of airwaves then 4G.
A mobile network has two components
Radio Access
Consist of various types of facilities including small cells, towers, masts that connect mobile users and devices to the main core network. Small cell is a major feature of a 5G network. It is a mini base station designed for localized coverage mainly in mmWave frequencies where connection range is very short. To provide uninterrupted connection small cells are divided into clusters depending on where user require a connection which will boost the micro-network and provide wide coverage.
5G uses MIMO antennas to send multiple elements and receive more data simultaneously. These antennas size is physically similar to 3G and 4G antennas.

Core Access
It’s a mobile exchange and data network that manages internet, voice calls and data. 5G core access is a bit modified to better integrate and is based on the cloud and take less response time. Features like Network Slicing and Network Function Virtualization helps to operate in real-time at any desired location within operator’s cloud platform and slicing segment the network for the particular industry which make it more efficient and take less response time.
