The Investiture Ceremony of Billabong High International School for the academic session 2018-2019 was held with great pomp and dignity and an inspiring and motivating assembly.
The Investiture ceremony signifies the reliance and confidence that the school consigns in the newly invested office bearers.

The prefects from Grade V upwards were at first felicitated by the School Principal & Coordinators. The House Captains of the four houses – Equality, Freedom, Peace and Unity along with other Student council heads were also conferred with badges and sashes. The grand announcement of the Head Boy, Sanchay Bhutani and Head Girl, Disha Sharma led to the oath taking ceremony. The student’s council took the pledge to hold the school motto of Loyalty, Truth and Honour in high esteem. The School Principal, Ms. Sharmila Chatterjee congratulated them and advised them to be impartial and honest in discharging their duties.

The ceremony also paved way for the Opening Ceremony of the Inter House Sports Events wherein the Sports Heads and the House Captains promised to keep the flagship of the sportsmanship and sincerity high through team work and dedication. The Freedom House bagged the prestigious House Cup for the session 2017-18 followed by the Peace House. The hoisting of the School Flag marked the grand opening for the sports events for the session 2018-19.
