At Sriharikota, today ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) made us proud again by launching its PSLV-C43 carrying a Hyperspectral Imaging Satellite (HysIS) along with 30 other foreign satellites. The satellite was launched at 9:58AM today that is November 29, 2018. The mission was total of 112 minutes long and first satellite that came out from it was our primary satellite in Polar Sun Synchronous Orbit at the altitude of 630km. Rest satellites have been delivered at the altitude of 504km in two batches.
ISRO chairman K Sivan and the space agency’s scientists broke into cheers as the earth observation satellite was injected into the polar sun-synchronous orbit. The Isro brass is keeping an eye on the mission until the last foreign satellite is delivered. The 30 commercial satellites, including one micro and 29 nano satellites, are from eight countries. Of the total 30 satellites whose combined weight is 261.5 kg, 23 are from the US.

“HysIS is an earth observation satellite developed by ISRO. It is the primary satellite of the PSLV-C43 mission. The satellite will be placed in 636 km polar sun-synchronous orbit (SSO) with an inclination of 97.957 deg. The mission life of the satellite is 5 years,” ISRO said.
According to the space agency, the primary goal of HysIS is to study the earth’s surface in visible, near infrared and shortwave infrared regions of the electromagnetic spectrum.
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) holds the record for launching the highest number of satellites in a single mission – 104 -on February 15, 2017.

Due to some technical faults, this can happen. In such a case the amount deducted will be transferred to the bank account in the next 7-10 working days. Normally the bank takes this much time to credit the amount back into your account.

At times, there may be a slight delay in your payment reflecting on your EasyShiksha dashboard. Soon after verification from the backend, we will update the payment status.
