Noida, 12 May, 2025: Ms. Charuvi Agrawal, the Indian artist with a multifaceted career including painting, sculpture, animation and filmmaking, is appointed as the Industry Dean of the School of Animation at AAFT. Her resume lists as its credits such critically acclaimed projects as “Shri Hanuman Chalisa,” which has been screened at international film festivals. She was also a co-creator of “Legend of Hanuman” for “Jio Hotstar, one of the top shows in India. To the extent that filmmaking is concerned, Charuvi is also a well-known visual artist, credited for her innovative “claytronics” and large-scale installations. Charuvi Agrawal’s artistic journey is replete with accolades, two of which are in the Limca Book of Records. She actively contributes to the art world by being a jury member for various film festivals and as the president of the AVGC task force at the Ph.D. Chambers of Commerce. Her artistic pursuits include her studio, CDL, a renowned animation and design studio in India, where they produce a diverse range of short films for television, OTT platforms, museums and immersive experiences.
