The Nanhi Kali program aims to provide underprivileged girls with the support needed to continue their education. The program offers a personalized adaptive EdTech learning platform that tailors instructions to the learning level of each girl, ensuring better comprehension and meaningful learning. Powered by artificial intelligence, the software is delivered to the girls via digital tablets. The program raises awareness within local communities about the importance of girls’ education. A sports curriculum is incorporated to promote the girls’ holistic development. Throughout the year, employees of DryChem India will volunteer their time to upgrade the skills of the girls and community members, further supporting education and community development. Through this association, Walplast Welfare Foundation is supporting the education of over 816 (666 primary and 150 secondary) Nanhi Kalis, hailing from Palghar (Maharashtra), Bharuch (Gujarat), Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh) and Nashik (Maharashtra), till March 31, 2024.

Sharing his excitement about the event, Shri Kaushal Mehta, Managing Director of Drychem India, said, “At Drychem, we firmly believe in the strong connection between business success and social responsibility. Our dedication to corporate social responsibility goes beyond mere philanthropy; it involves actively engaging in improving communities and the environment. We recognize the transformative power of education in creating positive societal change, which is why we have partnered with the Nanhi Kali Program. This collaboration represents a small but significant step towards our larger goal. Through this event, our objective was to raise awareness among families and local communities about the importance of education for underprivileged girls, decrease dropout rates, encourage regular attendance, and bridge the gender gap in education.”
