Council of Architecture, IPA sign MoU to propagate Plumbing education to Architecture students

New Delhi: Plumbex India, the exhibition on Plumbing, Water, and Sanitation Products has kick-started on 12th May, at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Sh. Hardeep Singh Puri, Honourable Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs inaugurated the event. Sh. Singh launched the ‘Bahrat Tap’ & ‘Nirmal Jal Prayaas’

On 12th May, IPA signed memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the COA (Council of Architecture) to develop an elaborate learning and knowledge-sharing platform for its members. Under the terms of the MOU, IPA assist in the development of a curriculum on the most recent plumbing technology and practices for 480 COA-affiliated architecture institutions. Education (water and sanitation) will be spread to architecture students studying in architecture colleges as a result of this.

On 14th April 2022, IPA signed an MoU with All India Council of Technical Education to provide Plumbing Education to 9000+ Engineering College students studying in all engineering and technical institutions affiliated with AICTE.

Mr. Gurmeet Singh, President, Indian Plumbing Association said “This is a tremendous opportunity for this whole sector stakeholders since Plumbing will become more organised and structured following this.”Speaking on this occasion Ar. Habeeb Khan, President, Council of Architecture said, “It is very important of sharing knowledge and learning platform for plumbing education which has to be spread to architecture students studying in the architecture colleges of the affiliated.”
