During another panel program, Vivek Bhargava, CEO Dan Performance Group at Dentsu Aegis Network, shed light on the digital marketing industry which is growing rapidly. He said, “When digital marketing started, obviously it was a new entrant, and we had to name it so we named it digital marketing. But now if you look at the industry today, I would say that the time has come to drop the word ‘digital’. All marketing is essentially digital because it is the new normal in our times. Conventional media isn’t just that dominant anymore.”

Speaking about blogging and its meteoric rise in the digital space, Malini Agarwal, Founder & Creative Director, Miss Malini said, “Imitation is the best form of flattery as they always say, so even if someone does that, the key is to get ahead in the game. There were a lot of sites that popped up after ours that replicated our work because lots of people liked what ‘MissMalini’ did. So we’re always on a mission to keep being innovative and being new. We’ve created The Girl Tribe, which is web series talk show and now we’re going to be launching an app for it too. So it is really important that you stay ahead of the curve and remember that the world is a large place and that there’s room for everybody. You have to find your niche and nobody can really say things quite the way you can.”

Renowned fashion designer Neeta Lulla spoke about fashion trends and the need for fashion to evolve with changing times. “Styling and fashion in the months before the pandemic was easy, we had all the material and resources available to us. Now, however, this isn’t the case, but we shouldn’t fret and instead looks towards sustainability. We have to learn how to reuse and alter fabrics. The future of fashion has to be sustainable and positive. To the next generation of fashion designers, I would say, keep your eyes and ears open to trends and use this free time wisely to read and enrich your aspirations. There is no need for lowering your morale,” said Lulla.

Acclaimed Filmmaker, Imitiaz Ali, was also present as a speaker for one of the programs and he spoke about filmmaking as a career and his journey in films so far. He said “Cinema is the most fascinating thing in life and filmmaking schools are encouraging places full of opportunities now.
